Raised in the Baptist bit of the family, I flirted with the CofE (went out with an Anglican at Uni!), before coming to Cranhill, Glasgow for a year as a Careforce Volunteer...and felt a strong call to stay. I trained as a teacher, but ended up taking on the education brief of an HIV/AIDS charity I was volunteering for, and so taught all over Scotland. The KS and minister at Cranhill discerned a call to ministry, and I was ordained in 2003 into the pilot team charge of Newbattle in Lothian. From there, I took my new wee family ('the boys' - 2 human, 2 canine) to Wellington NZ, returning to a charge in FIfe in 2014. I came to a Highland charge in 2021 so I'm desperately trying to learn my way around (forgive me if I'm late because I'm lost!) I have two Rules of Life: to glorify God and enjoy God forever; to love God, to love others and to help others to love God, too.
