Following 30+ years of experience in parish ministry and military chaplaincy, with the last four including membership of the Transition Team, I felt the summons to serve Clèir Eilean Ì as clerk. I am out of my depth yet surrounded by capable colleagues and sustained by my faith in God , for whom all things are possible and who promises to equip us for the work he calls us to. My priorities are obedience to God and to support God's people in the Highlands & Hebrides as we discern and fulfil our mission to bring the good news of Jesus to every single person living here. My aim, in partnership with neighbouring churches, is to create self-sustaining communities of faith which recognise that everything we really need comes ultimately from God.
