The £25 million Seeds for Growth Fund, available to applicants within the Church of Scotland, is dedicated to supporting initiatives that promote church growth and outreach to individuals beyond current congregations, with a special emphasis on establishing new churches. Over a period of seven years, the fund will provide assistance for:
Planting new worshipping communities
Developing innovative forms of church life
Engaging creatively with society, especially those under 40, for religious and Church growth
Promoting community transformation through Christian service.
Applicants must adhere to eligibility criteria, complete application forms, and meet assessment criteria, which include demonstrating a visionary approach to church growth, outlining measurable targets, and showing commitment to collaboration and sustainability.
Priority will be given to projects focused on developing new worshipping communities, church planting, and engaging intergenerational participation in worship.
