Despite coming from an international background (being half Czech and born in Sweden), I grew up in the south of England and spent many happy summer holidays in the Highlands each year.
I did my undergraduate and master’s degree in theology at the University of Aberdeen and then worked at the National Offices for the Church of Scotland’s Theological Forum for ten years. Feeling a call to serve local congregations more directly, I was delighted to be offered the role of Support Officer for Clèir Eilean Ì and took up the post in July 2026.
When I am not working, I am spending precious family time with my husband, Andrew, our 3-year-old daughter, Eva, and our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Percy. Although hobbies are hard to fit in with a wee one, I always have a creative outlet, whether its writing, cooking or an art project on the go.
